What Unslop is

Unslop is a browser extension that filters the LinkedIn feed and inbound direct messages in your browser. It can prefer Latest/Recent posts, hide engagement-bait and non–1st-degree posts, and mute cold-pitch DM openers. It runs entirely on your device.

Data we store

Unslop stores your settings and mute phrases in chrome.storage.local on this device only. That may include on/off toggles, a local Free/Pro flag for testing, mute phrases, and mute pack checkboxes.

• No accounts or sign-in
• No servers or backend
• No analytics or tracking
• No upload of LinkedIn content (posts, messages, profiles, or cookies)

Unslop does not create an account, contact a license server, or send data off your computer.

Permissions

• storage — Save settings and mute phrases in chrome.storage.local on this device.
• https://www.linkedin.com/* — Run content scripts on LinkedIn Feed and Messaging so Unslop can hide matching posts/DMs and use the existing Recent/Latest control. No other hosts.

Unslop does not request tabs, webRequest, identity, cookies, or <all_urls>.

What we don’t do

• Scrape LinkedIn for resale or profiling
• Show ads or inject unrelated tools
• Sell or share your data
• Train AI models on your feed or messages
• “Phone home” or phone any remote service

Future Pro / payments

A future Pro plan may be offered later. If payments or any remote license check are added, this policy will be updated before any payment or personal data is collected. The current build has no checkout, no remote license check, and no payment processing. Any Pro toggle in the popup is a local flag for testing only.

Uninstall

Removing the extension deletes the local data Unslop stored in chrome.storage.local on this device.
